If registration is Open, it should be easy to Sign up and Login.
Just click the Register link.
If registration is Closed, it's because spambots were opening accounts.

• Age Restrictions: You must be 18 or older to participate in Twilight chat. Adult topics will be discussed.

• Privacy: I'm a staunch privacy advocate. I do not collect or share user data. Your email will never be shared for any reason. This site does not email members for any marketing or promotional purpose. This chat is entirely hosted on Twilight Blue site server. Not embedded as a third party application. That means, no third party has access to chat content. I have scoured the program files, and found no back door connection to Blab Chat systems or other entity. If you disagree, please message me.
You're welcome to use a VPN or Proxy, if it makes you feel more at ease.

The Basics:

Twilight Chat is a quiet refuge from commercial social media mayhem.

Content: I'm pretty open to which topics may be discussed, of course within the confines of US law. Almost anything goes, but I'd rather members don't engage in religious or political debate. Mostly all I talk about is what I'm cooking for supper. lol. You'll be bored to tears here, unless more members join. Feel free to invite a friend, or share your spiritual or paranormal experiences. Members like myself may be experiencing emotional difficulties, and coping with various personal problems. Unsettling topics such as trauma, violence, death, self-harm or suicide may be discussed. Please be kind and understanding, and if you're easily triggered, this chat may not be for you.

Conduct: Basic respect required. Foul language is fine within reason. I cuss fairly often.

As of March 2026, there are only 3 members including myself. That's because the room lay dormant and unused for years, and I don't advertise my site, or invite people often. But lately I've been thinking a few more people could join, and maybe form a friendly hangout or support group of sorts, and I reopened registration.

Why chat here, as opposed to a commercial chat space? For one thing it's private, whereas ALL commercial social media sites record, collect, and sell user data. And they hit you with Ads, and want you to pay to upgrade. There are no Ads here, and never will be. I do not collect or share user data or emails, and you'll never be asked for payment or donations.

And you never know who might hassle you on other sites. Here, you are 100% safe, and your privacy is assured.
Also commercial chats are often flooded. You can barely get a word in, and you might feel like a ghost, or Guest #60238473493742. You won't have that problem here. We'll be like a close-knit family, gathered round the campfire.

This is a friendly community. However one need not partake to participate.

Interface etc:

• Use Settings panel to mute or change notification sounds, change your email or password, and font type and color. Please only use dark font colors since the background is light.
• Click History button to see older messages. However be advised I regularly delete chat history.
• In the bottom left corner are emoji options, with a sticker menu.
• Font Size: Sorry but I can't make the chat font size any larger than it is. You can zoom in with your browser if needed.
• File Sharing: This chat does not allow file uploads. Please use your Google Drive or another file host to share images or other files. If you don't know how to do that, just ask.
• Direct / Private Messaging: This chat does not allow private messaging between members.
• Message Editing or Deletion: Members can not edit or delete posted messages. Just ask me (Akasa) to remove any message you'd like deleted.
• Account Removal: Members can not delete their accounts. Just ask, and I'll remove it for you asap.
• Link Posting: It's fine to drop links in chat, so long as they're not spam or malicious. Left clicking links should open the content in a new tab, so you stay in the room.
• Language: English only please.
• Conduct Bans: Members not complying with chat rules will be banned at my discretion.

Lastly, a quick FYI: I am a night owl. I live in New York (Eastern Standard Time). I can't say when or how often I may be online or in chat. Generally late afternoon into the wee twilight hours. And I am often exhausted or busy working on my site or other things, and thus unable to chat much. But hopefully other members will join and be available. Also, I have high anxiety and PTSD, and I'm often stressed out and depressed. If you feel the same way, you'll fit right in.
